www.academi.org is the Welsh literature promotion agency. Academi is a useful resource for writers even if you have no Welsh connection. They organize several literary competitions every year, most of which are open to all. Their links page is excellent.

www.starbornbooks.co.uk is a small publishing house based in west Wales. They have produced several titles in recent years, including poetry, long and short fiction and biographies.

www.tynewydd.org Tynewydd is a residential writing centre in Cricieth, North Wales.

www.benybont.co.uk Raymond Humphries's eclectic literary website. Worth a visit.

www.writevoice.co.uk A site of interest to writers featuring; reviews, author profiles, critique service, interactive writing exercises and competitions.

www.leafbooks.co.uk A Wales-based publisher that publishes quality anthologies as well as books by individual authors. They also organise regular writing competitions.

www.limnisa.com A retreat in Greece for writers. Limnisa also run regular writing competitions and seminars.
